Top 5 Wednesday was started in November 2013 and is a very much active group on Goodreads, so head over to Goodreads to join the group and keep up with all the topics for the month. I thought it was such a fun idea to have weekly books related prompts that I could answer and share with all of you.
June 15th: Heart-Racing Reads
Its always nice to have a nice, calm “slice-of-life” story, but then other times we might pick up a book to get us on the edge of our seat and make us feel like we can’t stop reading for any reason. Let’s share some reads that got our hearts pumping and had us on edge! It could be from the excitement, fear, a combination, or something different altogether!
1. Caraval by Stephanie Garber
I recently read this book, and loved it so much. For being a Young Adult Fantasy book, I was surprised by how many twists and unexpected surprises there were in this one book alone. It was such a fantastical read and I would highly recommend this book if you are on the hunt for a magical YA fantasy book.

2. Lady Killer, Vol. 1 by Joëlle Jones (Writer/Illustrator), Jamie S. Rich (Co-writer), Chelsea Cain (Introduction)
This graphic novel is crazy (in the best way!). If you read the synopsis, it’s pretty clear what the book is about. If you want to read a girl boss, female killer– then this graphic novel is for you! Highly recommend it. Plus the illustrations are stunning!

3. Hook, Line, and Sinker by Tessa Bailey
