Happy Friday, friends!

I had scheduled a blog post to be uploaded yesterday evening; however, due to recent events (Her Majesty’s passing), I did not feel comfortable posting a blog post during such a tragic time. Despite not being a “royalist” or pro-monarchy, it’s still a weird feeling to have such a prominent figure pass away. In my opinion, it is important to not shy away from the darker side of British history, whilst still being able to honour the Queen as maintaining her position as the longest reigning monarch in Britain.

Today’s blog post will be the usual. I have been thinking of doing a bookish blog post inspired by Her Majesty’s legacy– maybe a blog post featuring strong women in fiction? Or royalty in fiction? (let me know if you guys would be into that!). For now, let me share with you some of the books that I have recently added to my TBR (to be read) /whishlist.

The American Roommate Experiment by Elena Armas
